Instructor II – Volleyball Coach

Natick Recreation and Parks is seeking energetic, responsible, and fun-loving applicants with volleyball experience who enjoy working with middle school students to join the Natick Rec team. These individuals will be tasked with running a middle school volleyball clinic, focused on teaching fundamentals and growing students’ love for the sport.

• Provide administrative and management support to the admin./leadership team
• Provide leadership, energy and organization for participants
• Design and implement weekly practice plans for youth grades 6-8
• Supervision of a group of 8-20 students
• Enforce all rules and regulations
• Maintain attendance logs, communicate with leadership and participants’ families
• Set up and breakdown program
• Maintain facility, inventory all supplies and equipment
• Other Duties as assigned

Recommended Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience :

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field with increasing responsibility, including supervising staff.

Special Requirements

• Current CPR/FA Certification approved by Massachusetts State Health Department or ability to obtain upon hire

Compensation This position is Grade 2 of the Town’s Part Time Pay Plan with an hourly range of $22.00 to $23.35 based upon qualifications and experience.
