Instructor Therapist

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each child's unique needs and goals
• Conduct therapeutic sessions using evidence-based techniques to improve communication, social skills, and behavioral functioning
• Assist with medication administration following prescribed protocols and document all medication-related activities accurately
• Collect and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment adjustments and ensure measurable outcomes
• Support patient care by monitoring children’s health status during sessions and responding promptly to any concerns or emergencies
• Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and relevant medical terminology for compliance and reporting purposes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including educators, parents, and healthcare providers to coordinate care plans and share insights

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in clinical, educational, or therapeutic settings
• Knowledge of special education principles and practices to support diverse learning needs
• Ability to administer medication safely according to established guidelines
• Strong understanding of patient care procedures relevant to pediatric populations
• Familiarity with medical terminology related to child health and therapy interventions
• Proven skills in data collection, analysis, and documentation for tracking client progress
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members
