Instrument Engineer

Responsibilities

• Participate in studies and the realization of maintenance and modification projects.
• Perform detailed engineering within instrumentation and prepare documentation.
• Conduct self-checks and discipline control of work.
• Hold discipline responsibility within projects.
• Manage supplier follow-up and communication.
• Perform changes in Tag and Document registers within client systems.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
• Lead technical teams within the instrumentation discipline.

Required expertise

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field; alternatively, a technical college degree with extensive relevant experience.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience from offshore or onshore projects on the Norwegian continental shelf.
• A trade certificate or field experience in addition to engineering qualifications is an advantage.
• Valid Basic EX course.
• Valid FSE course (Safety regulations for electrical work) with first aid.
• Knowledge of AT / SJA (Work Permit / Safe Job Analysis).
• Valid offshore certificate and health certificate.

Language: Norwegian and English
