Instrument Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of instruments and control systems.
• Install, inspect, test, calibrate, and maintain field instruments.
• Handle instruments such as:
• Pressure Transmitters
• Temperature Transmitters / RTDs / Thermocouples
• Flow Meters / Flow Transmitters
• Level Transmitters
• Control Valves
• Pressure & Temperature Gauges
• pH, Conductivity and other process instruments
• Troubleshoot instrumentation faults and identify the root cause of failures.
• Perform calibration and testing of instruments as per calibration schedules.
• Check and maintain control valves, positioners, solenoid valves and actuators.
• Work on PLC/DCS-based control systems for basic fault identification and troubleshooting.
• Check instrument wiring, junction boxes, cables, terminals, and signal loops.
• Perform loop checking and functional testing of instruments.
• Maintain calibration records, maintenance reports, checklists, and other documentation.
• Coordinate with Electrical, Mechanical, Production, and Automation teams during maintenance activities.
• Ensure proper compliance with plant safety procedures, PPE requirements, PTW and LOTO procedures.
• Maintain required spare parts and inform the supervisor about critical instrumentation spares.
• Support commissioning, installation, modification, and improvement projects.
• Follow company quality, safety, and environmental policies.

Required Qualification

• ITI / Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical & Instrumentation, or related field.
• Relevant industrial experience preferred.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
