What they need
Instrumentation Technician
Qualifications:
- ITI or Diploma in Instrumentation
- Good written and spoken English
- 3–5 years experience in instrumentation and control systems (smelting or heavy industry preferred)
- Preferably below 40 years of age
Responsibilities:
- Handle field instrumentation breakdowns and planned maintenance at the Carbon Plant
- Assess tasks and select required tools and equipment
- Maintain records and order spare parts using the computerized maintenance system
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures
- Assist in Root Cause Failure Analysis for repeated breakdowns
- Provide on-the-job training to new craftsmen
