Instrument Technician (Contract)

Position: Instrument Technician(Contract)
Location: Lakchai Muang Yang Industrial Estate, Rayong

About the role

This role involves performing preventive maintenance activities and filling in checklists for record keeping as per the schedule provided.

You will supervise and perform small projects and maintenance activities including Control System, Instrument Erection, Instrument Cabling, Instrument Calibration, Instrument Tubing Installation, and related work.

You will also supervise and perform repairing activities for Instrument Transmitter, Instrument Valve, Instrument Local Indicator, Instrument Cabling, Instrument Calibration, and Instrument Tubing.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance activities and fill in checklists for record keeping as per the provided schedule
• Supervise and perform small projects and maintenance activities including Control System, Instrument Erection, Instrument Cabling, Instrument Calibration, and Instrument Tubing Installation
• Supervise and perform repairing activities for Instrument Transmitter, Instrument Valve, Instrument Local Indicator, Instrument Cabling, Instrument Calibration, and Instrument Tubing
• Complete all documentation of maintenance activities including maintaining history logs, Checklists, and Schedules
• Manage inventory of BCTR's spare parts, highlight stock availability, and maintain spares in the designated workshop area
• Perform 5S in each work area and maintain cleanliness and tidiness
• Conduct safety/toolbox talk for subordinates weekly
• Attend daily maintenance meetings punctually
• Ensure attendance of Safety Meeting punctually
• Standby during night, weekend, and public holiday as required

About you

• High Vocational Certificate or higher
• Minimum of 5 Years' experience in the chemical industry
• Possess skills in Instrument and Control System Works (certified or non-certified)
• Ability to read and write documents in English
• Basic knowledge of chemical equipment/plant
• Able to understand Permit to Work System and suitable for training on it for receipt of Work Permit
