Instrument Technician | Offshore - Fixed Platform

Join OSM Thome as an Instrument Technician on a fixed offshore platform in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In this role, you will work with the vessel crew to keep all instrumentation and control systems operating safely and reliably.

• Key responsibilities:
• • Carry out routine inspection, testing, calibration and troubleshooting of instruments and control systems.
  • Maintain, repair and replace sensors, transmitters, control valves and panels.
  • Support commissioning and start-up of new or upgraded equipment.
  • Follow safety procedures and permit-to-work systems at all times.
  • Keep maintenance records and report any defects or abnormalities.
• Requirements:
• • Relevant technical education as Instrument Technician or similar.
  • Experience with offshore or marine instrumentation and control systems.
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, automation and process control equipment.
  • Good English communication skills; ability to work in a mixed crew.
  • Valid offshore certificates as required by flag and local regulations.
