Role & responsibilities
The Instrumentation Design Engineer is responsible for preparing, reviewing and coordinating instrumentation engineering designs for oil and gas projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, safety requirements and construction schedules.
Preferred candidate profile
Prepare and review instrumentation design drawings, specifications and engineering deliverables. Prepare instrument cable routing, cable tray and pneumatic tubing layouts. Coordinate instrument installation requirements with process, piping, electrical and mechanical disciplines.
Develop instrument index, I/O list, instrument datasheets and cable schedules. Prepare Material Requisitions (MR), Technical Requisitions and equipment specifications.Prepare Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE) for electrical equipment and materials.
