Instrumentation Engineer

1. Knowledge in Instrumentation & Control System Engineering fundamentals.
2. Preparing Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, IO list, Hook-up, Cable Schedule, Loop Diagram etc.
3. Preparing Automated Valve List, Automated Valve Datasheets, Solenoid Valves datasheets, Pressure Regulating Valve Datasheet etc.
4. Preparation of PLC/DCS system specification, Architecture etc.
5. Ability to read and implement Client specifications.
6. Knowledge in International standards (ATEX, NEMA, IEC 61508/61511 etc.).
7. Knowledge in Process documents like P&ID, PFD, Mass Balance, Process Description etc.
8. Knowledge in Piping documents like PMS, Line List, Valve List, Nozzle Schedule etc.

Good to Have Requirements

1. Guide 3D Modellers on instrument installation on 3D model development
2. Review and approval of Basic and Details engineering documents.
3. Review technical offers and preparation of TBE for Instrumentation and Control system (PLC/ DCS, RIO, Field Instruments, Automated Valves (ON-OFF Valves, Control Valves, SOV, PRV etc.) inline with codes & client specifications.
4. Review and Approval of Post order vendor documentation for Instrumentation and Control System (PLC/ DCS, RIO, Field Instruments, Automated Valves (ON-OFF Valves, Control Valves, SOV, PRV etc.)
5. Review and Sign off FAT/SAT procedures for PLC/DCS.
6. Preparing and Reviewing HAZOP & SIL study and calculation procedures.
7. Exposure to conducting inspection and report for PLC/DCS Panels.
8. Budgeting hours and controlling On time and high-quality submission of Instrumentation and Control scope of work
9. Handled complex projects with complete basic and detail engineering of Instrumentation and Control System scope
10. Instrumentation and Control System respective vendor contacts and selection of correct Instrumentation and Control System items

Applied Knowledge

1. The individual has the technical ability to carry out small to medium-risk projects/ tasks with the assistance of experienced engineers.
2. The individual has a comprehension of the complete implementation of the project and the resulting outcomes.
3. The individual maintains an up-to-date understanding of the various types of systems, equipment, information technology, and specifications that can be used to achieve specific design objectives.

Educational Qualification

Engineering Degree Electronics / Instrumentation & Control Engineering Minimum 8 to 10 years’ Experience in Water, Power, Oil & Gas or related Industry.
