• Degree in Instrumentation, Electronics or Electrical Engineering with minimum 3 years of relevant experience, or Diploma in Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in installation, calibration, testing and commissioning of industrial instrumentation.
• Experience in maintenance of pressure, differential pressure, temperature, flow and level instruments, control valves and transmitters. Knowledge of PLC/DCS systems, SCADA, industrial communication protocols and process control systems.

Key Process Engineering Responsibilities:

• Supervise installation, calibration, loop checking, testing and commissioning of field instruments.
• Review P&IDs, instrument index, instrument datasheets, hook-up drawings and instrument cable schedules.
• Prepare/review instrument layouts, loop diagrams, termination drawings and interlock/control logic documentation.
• Coordinate PLC/DCS, SCADA, field instruments and control panel integration.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for installation, troubleshooting and commissioning.
• Verify instrument signals, alarm settings, control loops and interlocks.
• Maintain calibration records, loop-check reports, instrument documentation and maintenance schedules.
• Support process control optimization, plant start-up and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with instrumentation standards, process safety and site safety requirements.
• Finalise purchase orders for instrumentation equipment, consumables and spares, and systematically monitor warranty periods, warranty claims and timely rectification of defects by suppliers.
• Formulate, implement and monitor Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) schedules for instrumentation systems and equipment to minimise breakdowns and improve plant availability.
• Identify, stock and periodically review consumable items and critical instrumentation spares, ensuring availability for uninterrupted plant operation while optimising inventory levels and procurement lead times.
