Instrumentation Technician

Job Summary:

• The Instrumentation Technician installs, calibrates, maintains, and repairs field instruments and control valves to ensure accuracy and minimize downtime. Duties include troubleshooting PLCs, networks, and pneumatic systems; reading technical diagrams; configuring transmitters and VFDs; monitoring SCADA/HMI/DCS; and performing loop testing. The role also involves preparing reports, recommending spare parts, following safety protocols (LOTO, permits), participating in root cause analysis, supporting continuous improvement, and staying current through ongoing training.

Job Qualification:

• Diploma or Technical Vocational Certificate in Electronics Technology, Instrumentation Technology, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in automation, instrumentation, electrical maintenance, or industrial maintenance within manufacturing, preferably in food and beverage processing.
• PLC troubleshooting (Rockwell/Allen-Bradley or Siemens)
• VFD and Motor Control
• Pneumatic and Electro-Pneumatic Systems
• Knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and automation equipment
• Knowledge of industrial instrumentation (pressure, temperature, level, flow sensors)
• Willing to work onsite in Darong, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur
• Willing to work in production operations (factory-based)
