Duties

• Measure and cut insulation materials accurately using hand tools and power tools to fit specific spaces according to project plans
• Install various types of insulation such as fiberglass, foam board, spray foam, or mineral wool in walls, attics, floors, and ceilings
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings to ensure precise installation aligned with project specifications
• Use caulking tools to seal gaps around insulation for optimal thermal performance and air sealing
• Handle drywall installation tasks when required, ensuring proper finishing and alignment for seamless surfaces
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris responsibly, and adhering to safety protocols at all times
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards

Qualifications

• Prior experience with construction work or insulation installation is highly preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is valued!
• Proficiency with hand tools such as knives, tape measures, caulking guns, and screwdrivers is essential
• Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings accurately to guide installation processes
• Knowledge of drywall installation or finishing is a plus but not required; training will be provided if needed
• Strong attention to detail combined with physical stamina for lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment

Pay: $25.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
