Insulation Laborer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Insulation Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation of various types of building insulation materials, ensuring energy efficiency and comfort in commercial and residential projects. Your enthusiasm for construction, safety awareness, and ability to follow technical specifications will contribute to successful project completion. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in insulation installation while working on diverse construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist in measuring, cutting, and installing insulation materials according to blueprint specifications and project requirements
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to install insulation, including cutting, fastening, and sealing materials
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine proper insulation placement and specifications
• Climb ladders, scaffolding, and other elevated structures safely to access work areas at various heights
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and power tool safety procedures
• Support the installation of metal stud framing, drywall, plastering, and trim carpentry as needed for insulation projects
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project standards are met efficiently and professionally

Skills

• Construction estimating experience is a plus for understanding project scope and material needs
• Proficiency in ladder use, climbing, and working at heights safely
• Mechanical knowledge relevant to insulation systems and construction equipment
• Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, tape measures, and utility knives
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and blueprint interpretation
• Experience with building insulation installation across commercial or residential sites
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately
• Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and OSHA standards
• Familiarity with power tools including drills, saws, airless paint sprayers, and fabrication equipment
• Strong client communication skills to coordinate with project managers or clients when necessary
• Experience with masonry, plastering, trim carpentry, metal stud framing or airless paint spraying is advantageous but not required

Pay: $125.00 - $175.00 per day
