ob Description & Responsibilities

• Supervised daily insulation activities for piping, equipment, vessels, and process systems in accordance with approved project specifications and drawings.
• Planned and coordinated insulation installation activities based on project schedules, work priorities, and construction requirements.
• Supervised the installation of thermal insulation and acoustic insulation on process piping, pipelines, tanks, vessels, and equipment.
• Ensured proper installation of insulation materials, including mineral wool, calcium silicate, and other specified insulation products, as required by project specifications.
• Supervised the installation of aluminum and stainless-steel cladding, weatherproofing, and protective jacketing.
• Interpreted isometric drawings, piping layouts, insulation schedules, and technical specifications to ensure accurate execution of work.
• Coordinated with piping, mechanical, QA/QC, and HSE teams to ensure smooth execution of insulation activities.
• Conducted routine inspections to verify insulation thickness, material quality, cladding installation, and workmanship in accordance with approved standards.
• Ensured compliance with project HSE requirements, including PPE usage, work-at-height precautions, scaffolding safety, and proper handling of insulation materials.
• Conducted toolbox talks and daily safety briefings to communicate job-specific hazards and preventive measures to workers.
• Monitored manpower, tools, equipment, and material consumption to achieve daily construction targets.
• Ensured proper material storage, housekeeping, and prevention of insulation damage during installation.
• Coordinated with QA/QC inspectors for inspection requests, quality verification, and rectification of identified defects.
• Prepared daily progress reports covering manpower deployment, completed activities, pending work, and material requirements.
• Identified site constraints and technical issues and coordinated with construction management to implement corrective actions.
• Supervised punch-list clearance and ensured completion of insulation and cladding works according to project quality requirements and schedule.
