Our client is one of the UK’s leading life insurance brokers, established in 1998. What started with just a CEO and one Adviser has grown into a successful business of several hundred people across four locations: London, Leeds, Milton Keynes and Hertfordshire.

Due to continued growth, we’re looking for Protection Insurance Advisers to join the team in the Hertford/Ware area.

The Opportunity

As a Protection Insurance Adviser, you’ll speak with customers over the phone, understand their individual circumstances and recommend suitable protection products to meet their needs.

This is a consultative sales role — you’ll need to build trust quickly, ask the right questions and provide customers with a first-class experience, while being driven to achieve and exceed your targets.

For high performers, there is the opportunity to earn uncapped commission, with an OTE of £75,000+ per year with top performers earning well in excess of £115K.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed fact-finding consultations with customers over the phone.
• Understand customers’ circumstances, needs and financial protection requirements.
• Recommend appropriate protection insurance products based on individual customer needs.
• Build strong relationships and create a positive first impression.
• Deliver consistently high standards of customer service.
• Work towards and exceed individual sales targets and KPIs.
• Take ownership of your performance and actively look for ways to improve.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues in a competitive but supportive team environment.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience in a B2C sales, advisory or consultative sales environment.
• A proven track record of working towards and achieving sales targets and KPIs.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• A genuine customer-first approach and high standards of integrity.
• A motivated, ambitious and resilient attitude.
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
• Previous experience selling protection or insurance products is desirable, but not essential.
