Role Overview

Our client is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Insurance Agent to join their team in Sioux Falls, SD. The Insurance Agent will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, understanding customer needs, recommending suitable insurance products, and providing exceptional customer service.

The company is open to candidates who may not have previous insurance experience and is willing to provide training to the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
• Identify customer insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage and products.
• Provide professional insurance services and guidance to new and existing customers.
• Conduct policy reviews and identify additional insurance opportunities.
• Assist customers with claims and insurance-related questions.
• Promote insurance products through sales and relationship-building activities.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve client concerns effectively.
• Maintain accurate customer, policy, and account information.
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Develop knowledge of insurance products, policies, and industry requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in Insurance Sales, Insurance, or Insurance Brokerage is a plus; candidates without direct experience may be considered and trained.
• Knowledge of finance and financial planning concepts.
• Strong customer service, communication, and active listening skills.
• Excellent relationship-building and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• State insurance license or ability to obtain the required license.
• Previous insurance industry experience is preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
