At BBCO Insurance, we're a local independent agency focused on Better Coverage, Better Options. We work with multiple insurance carriers so our clients have choices when it comes to protecting their homes, cars, families, and businesses.

We're looking for a Personal Lines Insurance Agent to join our team and help clients find the right coverage while growing their own book of business.

Compensation: $36,000+ DOE (Base training salary + commission)

What You'll Do

• Connect with new and existing clients by phone, email, and in person
• Quote and sell personal insurance, including auto, home, renters, and flood
• Follow up with leads and turn opportunities into clients
• Identify opportunities to help existing clients with additional coverage
• Build lasting client relationships through great communication and service
• Work with multiple insurance carriers to find coverage options for your clients
• Meet individual and team sales goals

What We're Looking For

You should be someone who:

• Enjoys talking to people and building relationships
• Is comfortable making calls and following up
• Is motivated by goals and earning potential
• Is organized and dependable
• Can work independently while being part of a team
• Wants to build a career in insurance and continue learning

Insurance experience and an active Louisiana P&C license are preferred, but strong sales and customer-service experience will also be considered.

• Sick Leave: Five paid sick days available immediately upon hire.
• Vacation Time: After a probation period of ninety days, enjoy 3 vacation days accrued during the first year, with time accrued from the first day of work. Vacation time will increase with tenure & time accrued up to 15 days.
• Birthday Paid Leave: You will receive a paid day off on your birthday. If it falls on a weekend, you may choose to take the Monday or Friday off.
• Work From Home Days: After one year of employment, you will be eligible for 6 work from home days.
• Retirement Plan: Benefit from a company-sponsored retirement plan with a 3% match, effective after the ninety day probation period.
• Holidays: We observe all major holidays, providing you with time to relax and recharge.
