Duties

• Engage with potential clients through outside sales efforts, including community outreach and networking to generate new business opportunities
• Conduct comprehensive needs analysis to recommend suitable insurance products such as health, life, property casualty, and commercial insurance policies
• Negotiate policy terms and premiums with clients, ensuring clear communication of coverage options and benefits
• Manage sales administration tasks using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools to track client interactions, policy details, and follow-up activities
• Build strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service, addressing inquiries, and offering ongoing support for benefits administration and claims processes
• Stay informed about insurance regulations, compliance standards like HIPAA, and industry trends to ensure accurate advice and adherence to legal requirements
• Collaborate with underwriters and insurance carriers to facilitate smooth policy issuance and renewals

Experience

• Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments with a focus on client communication and relationship building
• Strong negotiation skills coupled with analysis abilities to evaluate client needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
• Knowledge of various insurance types including health, life, property casualty, and commercial insurance products
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems for effective sales management and documentation
• Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively
• Familiarity with insurance regulation standards such as HIPAA is a plus for ensuring compliance in health insurance sales
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts clearly and confidently

Pay: $25,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
