Role Description The Insurance Agent role at Softlogic Life is a full-time, on-site position based in the Gampaha District. The Insurance Agent is responsible for meeting with prospective and existing clients to understand their financial protection needs and recommend suitable life insurance solutions. Daily tasks include generating leads, conducting consultations, preparing quotations, and supporting clients through the policy application and onboarding process. The role also involves maintaining ongoing relationships with policyholders, handling basic inquiries and service requests, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely processing of documentation. The Insurance Agent is expected to achieve sales targets, follow regulatory and company compliance standards, and represent Softlogic Life in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Insurance Sales, with the ability to identify customer needs and present appropriate life insurance solutions.
• Solid understanding of Insurance products and practices, including policy features, benefits, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience or familiarity with Insurance Brokerage and Finance concepts, enabling effective financial planning discussions with clients.
• Demonstrated Customer Service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and courteous handling of client inquiries and concerns.
• Good numerical and analytical skills for evaluating coverage options and explaining financial implications to customers.
• Ability to work on-site in the Gampaha District, manage time effectively, and handle multiple client appointments.
• Prior experience in life insurance or financial services is an advantage.
• Completion of secondary education; a diploma or degree in business, finance, or a related field is beneficial.
