Insurance – Catastrophe Modeling Senior Analyst

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in US Non-Life Insurance (Property, Commercial Insurance, Homeowners, etc.).
• Experience in CAT Modeling, Exposure Management, Insurance Risk Analysis, Underwriting, or Insurance Data Analysis.
• Strong understanding of US geography, including states, cities, ZIP codes, addresses, and property locations.
• Knowledge of natural disasters such as hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, floods, and severe storms.
• Experience handling insurance policy, property, coverage, and location data.
• Experience with data cleansing, data validation, geocoding, and checking data accuracy.
• Strong MS Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and INDEX-MATCH.
• Experience with RMS, AIR/Touchstone, Verisk, or similar CAT modeling software is highly preferred.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, or VBA is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Insurance, Engineering, Geography, Data Analytics, or a related field.
