Insurance Litigation Associate Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

A well-regarded Florida law firm is seeking an associate to join its busy Insurance Practice Group in Fort Lauderdale. The team handles a wide variety of insurance-related disputes, offering strong exposure to first-party property, premises liability, and complex coverage matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior litigator to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle first-party property damage and premises liability matters with partner guidance.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and related litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and assist in developing case strategy.
• Manage case files, communicate with clients, and support all aspects of litigation.
• Contribute to efficient and effective resolution of disputes.

Who You Are

• 2–3 years of litigation experience; prior insurance litigation experience preferred.
• Strong academic credentials with excellent legal writing skills.
• Detail-oriented, organised, and proactive in managing deadlines.
• Team-oriented with strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Member of the Florida Bar (required).

Compensation Salary Range: Competitive market rate (DOE)
