Insurance Manager

Company Description

We are a growing Regenerative Medicine clinic in Dubai, and we are launching our in-house insurance department. We are looking for an experienced Insurance Manager to build it from the ground up and take full ownership.

** Key responsibilities**

• Establish the insurance department from scratch, including structure, workflows, SOPs and controls
• Manage the regulatory and licensing requirements with the relevant UAE health authorities
• Secure empanelment with local and international insurance companies and TPAs
• Negotiate contracts and tariffs with payers
• Set up and oversee the full claims cycle: eligibility, pre-authorisation, submission, follow-up and denial recovery
• Track KPIs such as claim rejection rate, turnaround time and collections, and report to management
• Recruit, train and lead the insurance team as it grows
• Coordinate with clinical, billing and front-office teams

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years in healthcare insurance or revenue cycle management in the UAE
• Proven experience setting up or launching an insurance department in a clinic or hospital
• Track record of empanelling with multiple insurers and TPAs, and negotiating tariffs
• Strong knowledge of DHA regulations, e-claims platforms and UAE insurance processes
• Existing payer and TPA relationships in the UAE (strong advantage)
• Experience managing and training a team
• Excellent negotiation, communication and analytical skills
• Self-driven, comfortable working without an existing structure
• Experience in aesthetics, dermatology or outpatient specialties is a plus
