Insurance Manager

A. SUMMARY

1. Establish a collaborative relationship with prospective clients from various sources such as networking, cold calling, and referrals.
2. Must have a proven ability to present with clients the products, benefits and services of the company.
3. Prepare and present detailed reports on the progress of initiatives to management.
4. Complete administrative tasks including maintaining records and handling policy renewals.
5. Track insurance claims to ensure client and company satisfaction. Prepare and present detailed reports on the progress of initiatives to management
6. Ensure accuracy of all communication whether verbal or in writing whilst maintaining agreed levels of service and correct reference to policy.
7. Must have a thorough understanding of underwriting, claims and risk management/ assessment principals.
8. Must have broad knowledge and understanding of standard concepts, practices and procedures within insurance industry, issues and trends.
9. Will work with the insurance providers and will be responsible for the provision of accurate policy clarification and guidance to principals and their beneficiaries.
10. Respond and communicate effectively to queries from clients with regard to their coverage policy.
11. Must be able to gain credibility with corporate, functional and business unit management.
12. Review and negotiate insurance policies, terms, and renewals.
13. Handle complex client requirements and provide tailored insurance solutions.
14. Ensure compliance with Philippine insurance regulations and company policies.

B. QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• With minimum 5 years of experience in insurance (brokerage, underwriting, or related)
• Preferably with working experience in a Non-life Insurance Companies and with in-depth knowledge of the different types of insurance plans including vehicle, home, and business.
• Has the ability in identifying sales opportunities for insurance plans and overseeing a portfolio of clients.
• Outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• With proven leadership and management competencies and display strong communication and relational skills**.**
• Highly motivated, with strong work ethics and a high level of decision-making abilities.
