Insurance Sales Agent

What You’ll Do

• Work with provided warm leads and prospective clients
• Meet with clients virtually, by phone, or in person
• Learn about clients’ insurance needs and goals
• Present and explain available insurance solutions
• Educate clients on coverage options and policy features
• Follow up with prospective and existing clients
• Maintain accurate client information using CRM tools
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Qualifications

• Previous sales, customer service, military, or business experience is a plus
• Life & Health insurance license is a plus, but not required to apply

Compensation & Employment Structure

This is a 1099 independent contractor position with commission-based compensation. Earnings are based on production and are not guaranteed.

Candidates who are not currently licensed will need to obtain the appropriate insurance license before selling insurance. Licensing involves costs that may include pre-licensing education, examination, application, and state licensing fees. Estimated initial licensing costs may be approximately $199–$250, depending on the candidate’s circumstances.
