What You'll Do

• Build relationships with local businesses and decision-makers.
• Help employers explore voluntary employee benefit solutions.
• Educate employees about insurance coverage options.
• Schedule and conduct business meetings, presentations, and benefit enrollments.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and referral partners.
• Manage your sales activities, appointments, and client communications.
• Participate in training, team meetings, and professional development.

Required Qualifications

• Reliable transportation to travel to business appointments, client meetings, and training.
• Ability to commute to Houston at least once a week for required in-person training or meetings.
• Access to a reliable laptop capable of supporting online training, virtual meetings, and web-based business applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your schedule.
• Professionalism, accountability, and a willingness to learn.
• Willingness to obtain a Texas Life and Health insurance license if not already licensed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, management, or business development.
• Existing Texas Life and Health insurance license.
• Experience building professional relationships or working with local businesses.

Compensation

This is an independent contractor (1099) opportunity, not a traditional salaried position.

Compensation is commission-based, with potential renewal income and qualifying bonuses. Earnings vary based on individual sales performance and are not guaranteed.
