Integrated Energy Solution Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pre-sales technical support for PV projects, including site surveys, solution design, and technical exchanges.
• Independently develop PV system solutions based on customer requirements and site conditions, covering system configuration, equipment selection, energy yield estimation, and investment return analysis.
• Prepare technical proposals, deliver technical presentations, and draft bid documents for distributed PV, commercial & industrial (C&I) PV, and PV + energy storage projects.
• Collaborate with the sales team in customer technical meetings, quickly delivering professional, reliable, and competitive solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Provide technical support during project implementation, assisting in resolving technical issues related to design, installation, commissioning, and acceptance.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest technologies, products, and policy developments in the PV, energy storage, EV charging infrastructure, and broader new energy sectors, and apply technical improvements and innovations to projects.

Requirements:

• Candidates with full working rights for Malaysia

• Proficiency in English or Bahasa Malaysia; and with basic Mandarin communication skills."We are looking for Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers."

• Bachelor’s degree or above in New Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, Energy Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• Solid understanding of PV system design principles and the ability to independently complete PV project solution design.

• Familiarity with one or more of the following specialized areas:

  • Commercial & Industrial (C&I) distributed PV systems
  • Utility‑scale ground‑mounted PV plants
  • PV + battery energy storage systems (PV + BESS)
  • PV inverters and power distribution systems
  • PV mounting structure design
  • EV charging stations and integrated PV‑storage‑charging systems

• Proficient in equipment selection for PV systems, including PV modules, inverters, energy storage systems, combiner boxes, transformers, distribution equipment, and monitoring systems.

• Ability to independently perform energy yield simulations, system capacity sizing, ROI analysis, economic feasibility calculations, and preliminary technical design.

• Familiar with PV industry design codes, construction standards, and relevant safety regulations; experience with PV projects in Malaysia is preferred.

• Proficiency in design and analysis software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, SketchUp, and Excel is preferred.

• Proven experience in successfully delivering C&I PV, energy storage, or other new energy projects is preferred.

• Strong technical analytical skills, logical thinking, and innovative mindset, with the ability to quickly formulate sound technical solutions based on customer needs.
