Integrated Management System Officer

About the role

R-II Builders Inc. is seeking an experienced Integrated Management System Officer to join our team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in developing, implementing, and maintaining our integrated management systems across all operational areas. As the Integrated Management System Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organisational policies whilst driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the company. This role is essential to our commitment to operational excellence, quality assurance, health and safety standards, and environmental responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain integrated management systems (Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental) in accordance with relevant standards and regulations
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements across all construction projects
• Identify areas for improvement and develop corrective and preventive action plans to address non-conformances
• Provide training and guidance to staff at all levels on management system procedures, compliance requirements, and best practices
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including policies, procedures, work instructions, and records
• Liaise with external certification bodies, regulatory authorities, and clients regarding audits, certifications, and compliance matters
• Monitor and analyse performance metrics related to quality, safety, and environmental management
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence
• Support management in developing and reviewing system strategies aligned with organisational objectives
• Communicate system requirements and changes to relevant stakeholders across the organisation

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years' experience in implementing and managing integrated management systems in the construction industry
• Professional certifications such as ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety), or equivalent qualifications
• Strong knowledge of construction industry standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements in the Philippines
• Demonstrated experience in conducting internal and external audits, and managing certification processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex systems clearly to diverse audiences
• Strong organisational and project management skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Proficiency in using management system software and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
