Integration and API Developer

The Role

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Integration Developer to facilitate the design, build, and support of integrations across a complex and evolving digital ecosystem. This position embed integration standards, and best practices across a multi-squad environment, helping shape how integration is delivered across the organisation.

You will contribute to the end-to-end delivery of integration solutions - from requirements analysis and design through to implementation and ongoing optimisation. You will also play a key role in improving integration frameworks, governance, and best practices across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Assess legacy and modern systems to define and deliver a future-proof integration strategy
• Design, build, and maintain APIs and system integrations across cloud and on-premise environments
• Establish and embed integration standards, patterns, tooling, and governance across the organisation
• Work across multiple delivery squads to ensure consistent integration practices
• Act as a hands-on technical lead, contributing directly to development and solution delivery
• Define and promote best practices for API-led and event-driven architectures
• Provide technical leadership, including guidance, design input, and constructive challenge to engineering decisions
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery

Requirements

• 8+ years' experience in integration / full-stack development
• Strong .NET experience (C#, .NET Core 6+ and .NET Framework)
• Understanding of Microsoft Azure DevOps
• Proven experience building APIs and integrating enterprise systems
• Strong SQL Server / T-SQL and backend data experience
• Experience working in complex legacy or brownfield environments
• Experience with messaging and event-driven systems (e.g. Azure Service Bus)
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills

Desirable

• Exposure to web and application development
• Experience integrating with Salesforce APIs and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
• Experience with React.js or Next.js
