Integration & Observability Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on engineer or technical consultant with around 2 years of experience to help implement and support observability solutions for enterprise customers.

You will work with senior engineers and customer teams to deploy monitoring, collect and analyze telemetry, build dashboards and alerts, troubleshoot issues, and document solutions. This is a practical, customer-facing role for someone who enjoys learning, building, and solving technical problems.

What You’ll Do

·       Deploy and configure Datadog, Elasticsearch, agents, collectors, and integrations.

·       Connect logs, metrics, traces, cloud services, applications, APIs, and infrastructure data sources.

·       Build dashboards, visualizations, monitors, alerts, and basic reports.

·       Troubleshoot telemetry collection, agent connectivity, permissions, APIs, log parsing, dashboards, and alerts.

·       Support investigations using logs, metrics, traces, and infrastructure data.

·       Write simple scripts and automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar tools.

·       Help deploy solutions across cloud, hybrid, container, and on-premises environments.

·       Create runbooks, implementation notes, troubleshooting guides, and reusable configuration templates.

·       Join customer technical calls, workshops, deployment activities, and handover sessions.

What We’re Looking For

·       Around 2 years of experience in technical support, cloud engineering, DevOps, systems administration, software engineering, or technical consulting.

·       Exposure to Datadog, Elastic Stack, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, or another observability platform.

·       Basic understanding of logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, alerting, and incident troubleshooting.

·       Scripting or programming skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript, or a similar language.

·       Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, YAML, Git, and Linux and/or Windows administration.

·       Basic understanding of cloud platforms, networking, containers, and security fundamentals.

·       Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

·       Clear communication skills and comfort working with customers and internal technical teams.

Nice to Have

·       Experience with Datadog Agents, Elastic Agent, Beats, Logstash, Fluent Bit, or OpenTelemetry.

·       Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, or CI/CD.

·       Experience creating dashboards, alerts, log pipelines, or monitoring integrations.

·       Exposure to security logging, SIEM, identity, API authentication, or cloud-security monitoring.

·       You build useful dashboards, alerts, and operational documentation.

·       You troubleshoot common monitoring and telemetry issues effectively.
