Integration Architect

About the Role

As an Oracle Integration Architect , you’ll own the technical architecture and delivery of Oracle integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) . You’ll work across requirements, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production hypercare.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end integration architectures using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) .
• Define appropriate synchronous, asynchronous, event-driven, and batch integration patterns.
• Build complex OIC orchestrations using REST, SOAP, Oracle ERP/HCM, Kafka , and other adapters.
• Leverage OIC AI capabilities where appropriate.
• Develop and work with PL/SQL, DBMS Cloud Jobs, XSLT, and XPath .
• Design OCI-based integration architectures using services such as API Gateway, OCI Events, Object Storage, and Notifications .
• Establish API contracts using OAS 3.0 and security policies including OAuth 2.0 and JWT .
• Enforce the use of private endpoints for integration connections.
• Lead integration projects from discovery and requirements workshops through SIT/UAT, deployment, and production hypercare .
• Troubleshoot payload errors, performance issues, and integration failures through root cause analysis.
• Facilitate technical workshops and translate business processes into technical specifications.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience delivering Oracle technical integration implementations.
• At least 3 end-to-end Oracle ERP technical implementations across multiple domains, including ERP, SCM, and HCM .
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) .
• Deep proficiency in REST/SOAP APIs, XSLT Mapping, and XPath .
• Strong experience designing complex event-based, application-driven, and scheduled orchestrations .
• Strong PL/SQL and DBMS Cloud Jobs experience.
• Strong understanding of OCI integration architecture and multiple PaaS services.
• Experience with integration security, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, OAS 3.0, and data privacy standards .
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle BI Publisher .
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle bulk uploads, including HDL and FBDI .
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Willingness to work on a shifting schedule as needed .

Good-to-Have

• Oracle Integration Cloud certification .
• Experience with Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) .
• Experience configuring Kafka adapters .
• Experience leveraging OIC AI capabilities .
