What they need

Imagineeer is a fast-growing SBA 8(a) Small Disadvantaged Business headquartered in Arlington, VA, delivering federal AI modernization across health, defense, homeland security, and transportation. We design, test, and deploy secure, AI-ready systems that move agencies from pilots to production without breaking governance, compliance, or mission continuity. Our Mission Studio model creates shared environments where policy, data, security, and operations come together. We are capability-driven and competitive by design, not program-dependent. Our leadership has operated inside the federal systems we now transform, bringing institutional knowledge that accelerates delivery and reduces risk. If real delivery motivates you more than slides, and you want your work to compound across programs and agencies, Imagineeer is growing and we are building the team to match.

About the role

Imagineeer is seeking an Integration Architect to design how commercial acquisition tools connect to a federal civilian department's AMS/PRISM contract writing environment and government-wide systems of record. You will be the supporting role on two checkpoints: technical feasibility and integration, and configuration control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory interfaces and data flows during the current-state assessment.
  • Write API and integration specifications against mock AMS/PRISM, FPDS-NG, and SAM.gov interfaces.
  • Coordinate with system owners on API access to AMS/PRISM, FPDS-NG, and SAM.gov for integration design and testing.
  • Lead pilot integration in the contractor sandbox.
  • Configure selected tools for production use during implementation.
  • Support configuration baselines for interfaces and integrations.
  • Identify integration and automated reporting opportunities for the Continuation Roadmap.
  • Work with AMS/PRISM, the client's contract writing and acquisition management environment
  • Acquisition systems of record: FPDS-NG, SAM.gov, and CPARS
  • FPDS-NG and SAM.gov APIs
  • The contractor-provided sandbox in a FedRAMP-authorized cloud region, with mock AMS/PRISM, FPDS-NG, and SAM.gov interfaces and synthetic data

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 8 or more years of systems integration experience, including at least 5 years as an integration or solution architect.
  • Expertise in REST APIs, data mapping, and integration patterns for SaaS platforms.
  • Experience integrating with federal systems of record.
  • Ability to pass the client's contractor security vetting and obtain and maintain a PIV credential; this role may carry a higher position risk designation.

Desired Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience with FPDS-NG and SAM.gov APIs or contract writing systems such as PRISM.

  • Cloud architecture certification (AWS, Azure).

  • Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft or Boomi.

Additional Information:

Employment for this position is contingent upon the candidate being a United States citizen and having the ability to successfully obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance, in accordance with applicable federal regulations.
