What they need
Seeking an Integration Developer to own the APIs, integrations, and services that connect core business systems, e-commerce platforms, customer applications, and data environment. Working alongside a senior developer, you will help grow our internal development capability, share ownership of the integration estate, and ensure critical knowledge is documented and held by the team rather than any one individual.
You will design, build, and maintain REST APIs and integration services connecting ERP, finance, e-commerce, CRM, and supporting systems. This includes developing microservices, building B2B and supplier integrations for product, pricing, order, and inventory data, and maintaining existing internal React-based tools and automation services in collaboration with front-end contractors. On the data side, you will develop and maintain SQL Server objects (queries, views, stored procedures) to support integrations, reporting, and the data warehouse, while contributing to data quality, lineage, and our transition off legacy ETL tooling.
You will provide second-level support for integration incidents, performing root-cause analysis and delivering permanent fixes. You will apply disciplined engineering practices including Git, code review, testing, structured releases, and change control, while proactively monitoring integration health and security, including OAuth 2.0 authentication. Documentation and knowledge sharing are key—you will document all integrations and data flows to team standards and actively participate in cross-training to reduce single-person dependencies. You will also contribute to the cloud migration programme (preparing integration workloads for cloud-native services) and deliver project work through the intake framework, meeting agreed milestones.
You will have 5+ years of commercial development experience focused on integration, APIs, and back-end services—this is not a front-end or full-stack role. You bring strong Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript skills, proven REST API design experience including OAuth 2.0, and solid SQL Server/T-SQL expertise. You have experience integrating ERP, POS, e-commerce, or CRM systems, and working with vendor APIs and file-based interfaces. Disciplined engineering habits—Git, code review, testing, documentation, and change control—are essential.
Desirable experience includes cloud platform exposure (Functions, App Service, Service Bus, API Management) or readiness to build those skills, React familiarity for maintaining internal apps, data warehousing and BI exposure, retail or multi-site business experience, and familiarity with iPaaS/ETL or event-driven architectures.
They offer meaningful integration work in a growing multi-site business, a collaborative culture that values knowledge sharing, a clear path to contribute to cloud modernisation, competitive salary and benefits, and flexible working arrangements.
Other offers great for you!
