Integration and Automation Implementation Lead

Job Summary:

The Implementation Lead is a critical role responsible for overseeing and driving the successful implementation of integration solutions using leading enterprise integration platforms. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert, guiding clients and internal teams through the entire project lifecycle, from discovery and design to development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support. The ideal candidate possesses a strong blend of technical expertise in integration, project management acumen, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Delivery Leadership:

  • Drive the technical execution of integration projects, ensuring technical milestones are met and high-quality outcomes are achieved.
  • Partner with Project Managers to define technical scope and validate project plans against architectural feasibility.
  • Proactively identify technical risks and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies to resolve integration roadblocks.
  • Serve as the technical authority for clients, translating complex business requirements into robust, scalable integration designs.
  • Collaborate with project teams to provide technical status updates, ensuring that solution architecture remains aligned with client goals.

• Solution Design & Architecture:

  • Conduct in-depth discovery sessions with clients to understand their business processes, system landscapes (ERP, CRM, eCommerce, etc.), and integration requirements.
  • Design robust and scalable integration solutions using iPaaS platforms, leveraging pre-built connectors, custom flows, APIs, and data transformations.
  • Develop detailed data mapping specifications and ensure data integrity across integrated systems.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the client's enterprise application integration (EAI) and SOA vision, implementing methodologies and procedures conforming to standard patterns and practices.

• Technical Execution & Oversight:

  • Oversee the development, configuration, and testing of integration flows within the chosen integration and automation platforms.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Perform rigorous quality assurance and testing to ensure error-free and optimal integration performance.
  • Troubleshoot complex integration issues, identify root causes, and implement effective resolutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest iPaaS features, releases, and industry best practices.

• Client & Stakeholder Enablement:

  • Conduct comprehensive training sessions for client teams on how to effectively use, manage, and monitor their integration and automation platforms.
  • Create and maintain thorough documentation, including technical specifications, process flows, and user guides.
  • Collaborate with internal sales, customer success, and product teams to ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for further engagement.

Qualifications:

• Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience:

  • 3+ years of progressive experience in integration development and implementation, with a strong focus on iPaaS solutions.
  • Proven experience leading and managing complex integration projects.
  • Hands-on experience with leading iPaaS solutions, including developing recipes/flows, managing connections, and utilizing data mapping and transformation capabilities.
  • Experience integrating with various enterprise applications such as ERP (e.g., NetSuite, SAP), CRM (e.g., Salesforce), eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento), and other cloud/on-premise systems.
  • Familiarity with API development (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML) and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in leading iPaaS platforms (e.g., Boomi, Celigo, Workato).

• Technical Skills:

  • Deep understanding of integration patterns, data synchronization, and error handling.
  • Proficiency in data mapping and transformation techniques.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with database concepts and SQL is beneficial.
