Integration Engineer

Role Description The Integration Engineer will work part time in a remote capacity, collaborating with consulting and client teams to design, build, and maintain system integrations that support HR and organizational development solutions. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing business and technical requirements, developing and implementing integration workflows, configuring and testing interfaces between software platforms, and troubleshooting integration issues to ensure reliability and performance. The role involves documenting integration architectures, maintaining technical specifications, and providing guidance on best practices in systems engineering and integration. The Integration Engineer will also support continuous improvement efforts by monitoring integration performance and suggesting enhancements aligned with client needs.

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills to diagnose integration issues, identify root causes, and implement efficient resolutions.
• Candidates should possess Software Development skills to build, customize, and maintain integration components and scripts.
• Candidates should possess Integration and Systems Engineering skills to design, configure, and manage secure, scalable connections between platforms.
• Experience with APIs, web services, and data formats (e.g., REST, SOAP, JSON, XML) is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with integration tools or middleware and version control systems is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in remote, cross-functional teams are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
