Integration Engineer

About the role

The Integration team connects production machines and factory systems to the MES. We are looking for an Integration Engineer to join this team and work on live client projects in regulated manufacturing environments.

Key responsibilities

• Build and test integrations between shop floor machines, factory systems and the MES, using Node-RED on edge devices, MES connectors, REST APIs and SQL
• Work from a field mapping specification to deliver a working, verified data flow
• Handle a range of machine and system data sources, including files on network shares, SQL databases and OPC UA servers
• Test thoroughly at record level before running full data loads, and verify results field by field
• Prepare technical documentation and test evidence for each interface, as required in a validated environment
• Raise discrepancies between the specification and the actual data to the Integration Lead rather than proceeding on assumption
• Coordinate with client process owners and IT teams to confirm data formats, system access and data meaning
• Support interfaces through testing, go live and handover

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Information Technology or a related field
• 2 to 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, in plant IT, automation, system integration or MES support
• Programming ability in at least one of JavaScript, C#, VB.NET or Python, sufficient to write data transformation logic with proper error handling
• Working knowledge of SQL, including reading a database schema and writing SELECT and JOIN queries
• Practical experience with REST APIs, including reading API documentation, handling authentication and testing with tools such as Postman
• Solid understanding of common data formats and issues: CSV, JSON, date and time formats, timezones, character encoding and data types
• Basic Windows and networking knowledge: file shares, service accounts, permissions, ports and firewalls. Comfortable working on a Linux command line
• Good command of Thai and working proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel to client sites, approximately 20% of working time
• A careful and methodical working style. This role requires someone who verifies before confirming, asks when something is unclear, and documents their work

Preferred but not required

• Experience with Node-RED
• Familiarity with industrial protocols: OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, serial or TCP
• Experience with SCADA or historian platforms such as Ignition, Kepware, Wonderware or Citect
• Exposure to ERP data structures, particularly Microsoft Dynamics AX, D365 or SAP production orders and master data
• Experience with label printing systems such as Loftware, NiceLabel or ZPL
• Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment

Experience with Tulip MES and Node-RED is not required. Training will be provided. We are looking for strong fundamentals and the right working attitude.
