Integration Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop integrations between ERP, MES, SCADA, PLC/OT systems, WMS, PLM, QMS, IoT platforms, and other enterprise applications.
• Develop and maintain APIs, web services, middleware, ETL pipelines, and event-based integrations.
• Integrate shop-floor equipment and systems with enterprise applications using appropriate industrial communication protocols.
• Work with technologies such as REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, SQL, MQTT, OPC-UA, TCP/IP, and messaging platforms.
• Analyze integration requirements and translate business/manufacturing requirements into technical solutions.
• Monitor integration interfaces, troubleshoot failures, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Implement logging, error handling, alerting, retry mechanisms, and data validation to ensure reliable integrations.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and OT teams to integrate machines, sensors, PLCs, SCADA and MES systems.
• Support data synchronization between manufacturing systems and ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Develop technical documentation, interface specifications, data mappings, and integration architecture diagrams.
• Participate in testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure integrations comply with company security, quality, and data-governance standards.
• Work with vendors and third-party technology providers when required.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

• 06 Months - 2 years years of experience in system/application integration, preferably in manufacturing.

• Strong knowledge of:

• REST/SOAP APIs

• SQL and relational databases

• JSON/XML

• API authentication and security

• Data mapping and transformation

• Integration troubleshooting
