About the Role

We are seeking a mid-level Integration Engineer to design, own, and maintain the integrations that connect business systems to one another and to outside platforms. You will map how data moves between modern and legacy systems and keep those connections reliable. This position is based in St. Petersburg, FL.

Key Functions/Responsibilities

The Integration Engineer owns the integrations connecting business systems and supports them after they go live.

• Own the integrations that connect business systems to each other and to outside platforms
• Provide support and maintenance for those integrations
• Map and document how data moves between systems, including legacy connections that are currently undocumented
• Support and maintain the AWS environment as part of the integration work
• Coordinate with application and platform teams on changes that affect integrations

Requirements

Candidates should have:

• 4-7 years of experience in integration, middleware, or systems engineering work
• Working knowledge of hierarchical (non-relational) database structures and older enterprise systems
• Experience designing, consuming, and troubleshooting REST API integrations between disparate systems
• Strong SQL and data-mapping skills for reconciling data across old and new systems
• Middleware or ETL-type experience, with a focus on how System A and System B communicate
• Hands-on experience standing up, monitoring, and maintaining cloud environments, including working knowledge of AWS
• Ability to map and document data flows as the work happens

Preferred Qualifications

The following are a plus but not required:

• AS400 experience
• Working knowledge of Azure in addition to AWS
