About the Opportunity

We are seeking a remote Integration Software Engineer with strong C#/.NET development experience and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure.

In this role, you will develop, maintain, and enhance the cloud-based integrations that connect critical business applications, enterprise platforms, and external partners.

You'll work primarily with C#, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, REST APIs, and SQL Server , helping ensure business-critical data moves reliably and efficiently between systems.

You'll also collaborate with a senior developer on solution design and have opportunities to incorporate AI-powered capabilities into existing integration workflows.

This position is ideal for a developer who enjoys hands-on coding, troubleshooting complex integrations, and working with modern cloud technologies.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based integrations using C#, .NET, and Azure Functions.
• Build and support event-driven solutions using Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, and messaging-based architectures.
• Develop integrations between enterprise applications, including Salesforce, NetSuite, third-party SaaS platforms, and custom business systems.
• Build, document, and consume REST APIs using ASP.NET Core, JSON, OAuth 2.0, and token-based authentication.
• Develop and support API-based and file-based integrations, including SFTP, CSV, and XML.
• Write and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and Entity Framework data access using SQL Server and Azure SQL.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Implement reliable integration patterns for retries, error handling, message ordering, idempotency, and dead-letter processing.
• Maintain and improve existing applications while ensuring system reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, and external partners to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Participate in Agile development, code reviews, and CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps or GitHub.
• Support AI-assisted workflows involving document extraction, data classification, and intelligent automation using LLM APIs.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience with C# and .NET.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying Azure Functions in a production environment.
• Experience developing ASP.NET Core Web APIs and working with Entity Framework.
• Understanding of event-driven or message-based architectures, including retries, idempotency, and error handling.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs using JSON, OAuth, and other authentication methods.
• Experience integrating third-party systems through APIs and file-based exchanges.
• Strong SQL Server development skills, including T-SQL and stored procedures.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including App Service, Key Vault, managed identities, and monitoring.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub, including source control and CI/CD.
• At least 2 years of experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate directly with business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, NetSuite, or other CRM/ERP systems.
• Familiarity with Azure Logic Apps, Azure API Management, or SQL query optimization.
• Experience supporting and enhancing existing production codebases.
• Exposure to AI/LLM APIs such as Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Foundry, Anthropic Claude, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with RAG, vector search, Semantic Kernel, or Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience working with technology systems in home services, franchise operations, retail, or other multi-location businesses.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
