INTEGRATION TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE

Want to learn a skilled trade and build a career? Southern Sentry is looking for an Integration Technician Apprentice to join our growing team.

You do not need previous security or low-voltage experience. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, mechanically inclined, willing to learn, and takes pride in doing things the right way.

As an apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced technicians and receive hands-on training in the installation and service of security, fire, video, access control, audio, networking, and other low-voltage systems.

• Security and intrusion alarm systems
• Fire alarm systems
• Video surveillance and cameras
• Access control systems
• Audio and intercom systems
• Networking and low-voltage technology
• Smart home and technology integrations
• Troubleshooting and service techniques
• Proper use of hand and power tools
• Safe and professional installation practices

What We’re Looking For

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Dependable and willing to learn
• Professional and respectful
• Mechanically inclined
• Comfortable working with tools and technology
• Able to follow directions and company procedures
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Ability to climb ladders and work in attics, crawl spaces, and confined areas
• Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening

You don't have to know the trade when you start. You do have to be willing to learn.
