Integrator / Development Manager

About the role

We're looking for an Integrator / Development Manager to lead and oversee the development function of a small, fast-moving development agency. This is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone who can bridge the gap between project requirements, technical execution, and delivery. You'll manage a team of full-stack developers working across web applications, business automation, integrations, reporting systems, and AI-enabled workflows. You will be responsible for ensuring developers have clear technical direction, projects are implemented correctly, blockers are resolved quickly, and work reaches production at the expected level of quality. While you do not need to be the primary developer on every project, you should be technically strong enough to review solutions, challenge technical decisions, troubleshoot with the team, and step in when necessary.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and provide technical direction to a team of full-stack developers
• Assign and balance development work based on project priorities, developer skill sets, and capacity
• Conduct regular check-ins with developers to track progress, identify blockers, and ensure accountability
• Establish clear expectations around development quality, documentation, testing, and completion
• Mentor developers to help improve the team's technical capabilities, problem-solving, and ownership
• Support hiring, technical interviews, onboarding, and evaluation of development team members when needed
• Review project requirements, SOWs, and technical specifications before development begins
• Work with Project Managers and developers to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions
• Determine or validate architecture, technology choices, integrations, data flows, and implementation approaches
• Review technical plans and identify potential risks, dependencies, or implementation gaps before they impact delivery

About you

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, ideally with a strong full-stack background
• Previous experience as a Technical Lead, Lead Developer, Engineering Manager, Development Manager, or similar technical leadership role
• Strong understanding of frontend, backend, databases, APIs, integrations, and deployment
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript knowledge with experience in Node.js and modern frontend frameworks
• Experience designing and troubleshooting API integrations and automation workflows
• Ability to review technical implementations and identify architectural or development issues
• Experience managing developers across multiple simultaneous projects
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Ability to estimate technical complexity and identify project risks early
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable communicating technical concepts to both developers and non-technical team members

Work Setup

• Remote

• 8:00PM – 5:00AM PH Time

• Flexibility may occasionally be required depending on project or client needs

• Small development agency environment with multiple concurrent client projects

• Team is Philippines based
