Designation: Junior Consultant Anaesthesiology

Reporting to: Group Medical Officer

Qualification: MD, DNB Anaesthesiology, DA Anaesthesiology

Experience: 5 years experience

Knowledge And Skills  Efficient in various anaesthetic techniques and procedures – MAC, Regional and general anaesthesia techniques, all kinds of vascular access (CVP, arterial line, Haemodialysis catheter), USG guided nerve blocks.

 Should be able to handle emergencies in ICU and emergency wards

Key Result Areas  To take part in forming and implementing department protocols

 To support and co-ordinate with senior in the department Responsibility:

 To develop the department overall and the subspecialties for the same

 Actively contribute to the academic aspects concerning their departments

 Guide and educate the paramedical staff in implementing the various protocols

 To ensure safe patient care in the hospital

 To ensure accurate, legible and detailed documentation of patient data, discussions and advice, in all the necessary records

 To effectively implement the goals and objectives of the department

 To Conducting classes for Clinical and Non-Clinical staffs in Basic Emergency

 To effectively coordinate with colleagues of other clinical department for the smooth management of patients

 To Conduct daily ICU rounds

 To assist in regular clinical audit and to improve the clinical functions

 To adhere to the code of medical ethics

 To Formulate treatment plans

 Ensuring case file documentation
