Interim Accountant

• Hourly rate up to $90 p/h + super, dependent on experience
• Hands on financial accounting role within manufacturing
• Immediate start

About the Role:

We are recruiting an experienced Financial Accountant for an urgent contract opportunity with a food manufacturing business in Gympie.

Working full-time and fully on site, you will support the finance team through to Christmas.

Key responsibilities include:

• Month end close, journals and accruals
• Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
• P&L reporting and variance analysis
• Inventory reconciliations and stock valuation
• Fixed asset accounting
• Audit, BAS and compliance support
• Manufacturing cost and operational variance analysis

You will ideally have:

• Strong Financial Accounting experience
• Solid month end and balance sheet capability
• Strong Excel and ERP systems skills
• Confidence working across finance and operational teams
• Manufacturing, inventory or costing exposure would be advantageous
• CA/CPA qualification is highly regarded

• Up to $90 per hour + super, dependent on experience

• Full-time contract through to Christmas
• Fully on site in Gympie
• Open to more senior candidates who have proven ability to be hands on
