Interim Accountant

🚨 Interim Accountant | Crawley | Automotive Sector 🚨

Alexander Lloyd are seeking an Interim Accountant with automotive sector experience to join our fast-paced client.

This is a hands-on role, initially for 3 months however is highly likely to be made permanent for the right person.

Key Duties:

✅ Manage cashflow forecasting, budgeting and reporting

✅ Oversee month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations

✅ Calculate and process depreciation journals

✅ Maintain the fixed asset register

✅ Oversee AP, AR and payroll activities

✅ Prepare VAT returns and statutory submissions

✅ Prepare monthly management accounts and variance analysis

✅ Support senior stakeholders with financial insight and reporting

About You:

✔ Previous senior finance experience within the automotive/motor trade sector (essential)

✔ Available immediately (essential)

✔ Strong accounting and reconciliation experience

✔ Confident managing fixed assets and depreciation accounting

✔ Strong Excel and systems skills

This role is based on site, so living within a commutable distance is essential.
