Interim Business Intelligence Manager

A great UHY client is seeking an Interim Business Intelligence Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling, Microsoft Excel, and PowerBI experience.

The Interim Business Intelligence Manager role is a temporary consulting position. This role is remote with minimal travel needed. MUST HAVE LARGE LEGAL FIRM EXPERIENCE.

Interim Business Intelligence Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop an analytics team, providing coaching, guidance, and opportunities for professional growth.
• Apply data analysis and market research to support business planning, client development, competitive positioning, and strategic decisions.
• Oversee analytics projects from initial planning through implementation, managing priorities, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
• Partner with leaders and teams across the organization to identify business challenges, evaluate opportunities, and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Establish practices that promote data accuracy, security, consistency, and responsible information management.
• Improve analytics platforms, reporting processes, and automated workflows to increase efficiency and expand business intelligence capabilities.
• Leverage statistical analysis, data mining, and AI-driven approaches to identify trends, evaluate market opportunities, and generate meaningful insights.
• Develop and refine analytical approaches, including predictive modeling, forecasting, and client segmentation.
• Translate complex data into clear findings and recommendations that support business objectives and measurable results.

Interim Business Intelligence Manager Requirements:

• At least 8 years of progressively responsible experience in business analytics, market research, competitive intelligence, or a related field.
• Proven experience building, leading, and developing analytics teams, including collaboration across multiple business functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related discipline required.
• Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related discipline preferred.
• Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, data mining, and the application of AI to market research and business analysis.
• Experience with advanced analytics methodologies, including predictive modeling, forecasting, and segmentation.
• Experience querying, managing, and analyzing large datasets and databases.
• Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities, multiple projects, and stakeholder needs.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to explain complex findings clearly and influence decisions across departments.
