Interim Financial Controller – SaaS Business

Location: Fully remote

Duration: Interim assignment

Salary: £65k - £75k

We are supporting a growing SaaS business seeking a hands-on Interim Financial Controller to strengthen its core finance operations and provide support across a broader transformation programme.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the month-end close and delivering accurate, timely management accounts.
• Taking ownership of statutory accounts, audit preparation and financial compliance.
• Strengthening balance-sheet reconciliations, controls and reporting processes.
• Improving the quality and consistency of financial information.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management.
• Identifying opportunities to streamline, automate and professionalise finance processes.
• Providing broader support across business and finance transformation initiatives.
• Working closely with senior leadership to deliver reliable financial insight.

The successful candidate will be a technically strong, hands-on Financial Controller with experience in a SaaS or technology-led business. They will be comfortable balancing day-to-day financial control with process improvement and wider transformation activity.

Previous experience within a growing, investor-backed or PE-backed environment would be advantageous.
