Interim Finance Transformation Director

Blair West are supporting a privately owned Family Office with the recruitment of an Interim Finance Transformation Director for an initial period of 6 months. This will mainly be office based (with some flexibility) based in the North of England and you must have the right to work in the UK.

The opportunity:

• Carry out an independent review of the finance function, covering people, processes, systems, controls, governance and reporting.
• Recommend and implement the future finance operating model, including what should be retained, outsourced, automated, simplified or stopped.
• Review ERP and finance systems and develop a finance technology roadmap.
• Identify and drive AI and automation opportunities across finance and the wider business.
• Redesign key finance processes and simplify banking and payment arrangements.
• Build a KPI and dashboard framework and improve the quality of Board reporting.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board, moving quickly from diagnosis to practical change.
• Review of trading activity across the group.
• Understand existing commercial contracts & agreements.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you're:

• An experienced CFO, Finance Director or Transformation professional with Board level exposure.
• Experienced in a family office or in a PE firm is highly advantageous.
• Experienced leading finance transformation and operating model redesign.
• Experienced reviewing and implementing ERP and finance technology.
• Confident applying AI and automation in a finance setting.
