Interim Financial Controller | 3–6 Month Contract | €90,000 Salary Equivalent

Location: Hybrid – 1 Day Dublin, 1 Day Kilkenny, 3 Days Working from Home

Contract: 3–6 Months | Potential to Become Permanent

Salary: Circa €90,000 Per Annum (Pro Rata)

Start Date: ASAP

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join a UK-based organisation following the recent acquisition of two businesses in Ireland.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to take ownership of the Irish finance function, support the integration of both acquisitions and act as a key point of contact between the Irish operations and UK leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial operations of two recently acquired Irish entities.
• Lead financial reporting, management accounts, budgeting and forecasting.
• Support the financial integration of both acquisitions into the wider UK group.
• Ensure compliance with Irish financial reporting, tax and regulatory requirements.
• Manage cash flow, financial controls and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Partner closely with senior stakeholders in Ireland and the UK.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting and operational efficiencies.
• Provide commercial financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Key Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong experience as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager or in a similar senior finance position.
• Experience managing finance operations independently and working with senior leadership.
• Strong financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting capabilities.
• Previous experience with acquisitions, integrations or multi-entity environments would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Available to start immediately or at short notice.

Working Arrangements

Hybrid working model:

• 1 day per week on-site in Dublin.
• 1 day per week on-site in Kilkenny.
• 3 days per week working from home.
