Interim FP&A Manager

About Us

We are working with a financial services business with private equity investment, embarking on an exciting phase of transformation and growth. As they scale, they are seeking an ambitious and analytically sharp Interim FP&A Manager to support our CFO and leadership team in driving financial insight and strategic decision-making for three to six months.

The Role

This is a high-impact role ideal for a commercially minded finance professional with 7+ years of experience in FP&A, ideally within a PE-backed or fast-paced environment. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy, enhancing reporting, and driving performance through data-led insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and refine financial models to assess business performance, forecast growth, and support strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with the CFO to enhance the board reporting pack, ensuring it meets the expectations of private equity stakeholders.
• Lead the development and refinement of a new KPI framework, modelling the impact of key metrics on business performance.
• Analyse pricing models and revenue streams, providing actionable commentary and recommendations for improvement.
• Consolidate and interpret data from multiple sources, presenting clear, concise insights to the CFO and senior leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and financial performance through data-driven analysis.

About You:

• 7 years+ of experience in FP&A, ideally in a PE-backed business.
• Strong financial modelling and Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Proven ability to work with large datasets and distil insights for senior stakeholders.
• Experience improving board reporting and KPI frameworks.
• Commercially astute with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
