Interim FP&A Manager — SaaS

A private equity-backed SaaS company is seeking an Interim FP&A Manager to provide hands-on financial planning, modeling, and analytical support. This individual will partner with finance leadership to strengthen forecasting, improve visibility into business performance, and evaluate growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, rolling forecasts, and financial models, including revenue, operating expenses, headcount, and cash flow.
• Prepare monthly reporting, budget-to-actual analysis, and clear explanations of performance drivers.
• Build scenario models to evaluate pricing, customer acquisition, expansion opportunities, and profitability.
• Partner with sales, operations, and leadership to validate assumptions and improve forecast accuracy.
• Support cash forecasting and provide analysis for management, board, and private equity sponsor reporting.
• Improve reporting processes and help address near-term FP&A capacity needs.

Qualifications

• Experience at the FP&A Manager or strong Senior Financial Analyst level, with the ability to work independently.
• SaaS or subscription-based business experience and a strong understanding of recurring revenue metrics.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cross-functional business analysis.
• Private equity-backed company experience preferred.
• Comfortable stepping into an interim assignment and producing useful analysis quickly.
