Interim Head of Modelling

Morson Edge are currently leading the search for a Head of Modelling to join a UK bank on a day rate contract for circa 4 months initially. The role would support with credit strategy development, with responsibility for the development and maintenance of both operational credit models and IFRS9 impairment models.

The role also manages a team a small team, the role would be London based with 50% home working flexibility.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working hands-on across technical modelling activities, while also engaging effectively with senior stakeholders, representing the team at relevant committees, and supporting the external audit process.

Extensive experience in credit modelling and credit strategy is required, covering both operational credit management and IFRS9 impairment modelling.

The role requires a strong combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and people leadership

To be considered you would need

• Extensive retail risk modelling experience
• Strong knowledge of IFRS9 Impairment
• Leadership and team management experience
